Our client is a premier, US-based manufacturer of civil construction products, which are specified into commercial and municipal projects. This company has a top-tier market position and a strong growth trajectory.
Following a 12-week training program, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for product specification and approvals for a group of highly specialized product lines. The territory for this position with be the Chicago metropolitan area. This position is available due to an internal promotion, leaving a prime territory open!
This position involves working with engineering firms and municipalities, in order to increase product specification in the territory. This is a consultative, solutions-oriented position which will require strong presentation and relationship management skills. There will be extensive training provided on the products.
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required for this position, as well as at least 3 years of work experience. Experience in Civil Design, Project Management or Civil Consulting is highly desired. Prior experience in a client facing role is desired for this position.
